GD Rutter

Formed in 1930 by George Daniel Rutter, G D Rutter Ltd was mainly an importing agent, specialising in builders’ hardware. Over the past 80 years G D Rutter Ltd has been constantly growing, and now is one of New Zealand’s leading suppliers of door and security hardware under the Sylvan brand.

G D Rutter has a strong family influence and currently managed by the 3rd generation with the emphasis on customer satisfaction, product quality and designing products that meet the needs of their customers.

In 2013 G D Rutter Ltd was appointed the official supplier of Iseo security products for the NZ market. Iseo is a leading brand of European security products produced in Italy.
